RESOURCES FOR RESEARCHERS
The Museum is happy to provide researchers with access
to the original photographic and archival information in its collections.
To guarantee that a staff person will available to assist with research,
researchers should notify the Museum of their visit at least one
week prior. The Museum can provide copies of archival materials
and of photos in response to telephone or mail requests. We can
assist with some research questions but, due to the small size of
the staff, cannot provide extensive research assistance.
1. Photo Resources
The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave has an archive of over 1300 photos.
Buffalo Bill, Cody family members, Wild West performers and performances,
and places visited by Buffalo Bill are among the extensive number
of images in this collection. This collection has been digitized
and is available in print, Jpeg or Tiff form.
Processing Fees:
- 5 x7 or 8 x10 Digital Prints - $10/print
- 11 x 17 or Panoramic Digital Prints - $20/print
- CD with Images - $10/image plus $2 for the CD
Reproduction Fees:
In addition to processing fees, reproduction fees are charged for
the commercial use of photographs. These vary according to the specific
use and number of copies made. Contact the Museum for more information
about these fees and the conditions associated with reproduction.
Shipping Fee: Within the United States and Canada - $5.00
International - Dependent upon size and destination.
